ANARKISS is an independent queer publishing house centering LGBTQIA+ creatives through art, literature, and cultural resistance. Every issue brings together LGBTQIA+ creatives working across queer culture, kink, and sex work.

Our open submissions policy welcomes contributors from around the world. Whether you’re a poet, photographer, essayist, illustrator, graphic designer, or working in a medium all your own, ANARKISS exists to help bring your work into print.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS: FEBRUARY 19, 2027

In an effort to grow, promote and increase the visibility of South Florida LGBTQIA+ artists to educate and develop meaningful interactions between artists and community attendees Miami Beach Pride is currently accepting submissions for the 6th edition of Queer Art Showcase to take place on Monday, April 5, 2027 at the Moxy South Beach, as part of the 19th edition of Miami Beach Pride Festival & Parade 2027.

Miami Beach Pride is seeking artwork that expresses authentic, diverse viewpoints and experiences. Women, BIPOC, and disabled queer artists are traditionally underrepresented and are encouraged to apply.

• All selected artists will be responsible for the set-up and breakdown of their work.

• Day-off early access will be granted to artists to set up in advance of the event opening to the general public for free from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm.  

• Do plan accordingly for the day of the event if your work is selected to be showcased. 

• Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase your art, with one hundred percent of the proceeds going to you.

Please note only applicants from the South Florida Market will be accepted.

The Trans Empowerment Project is offering $200 microgrants to provide Trans, Two-Spirit, Intersex, Gender-Expansive, and other folks part of the 2TIGE community with urgent emergency needs.

The Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium is accepting applications to channel greater resources toward organizations that are intentionally supporting and empowering Black girls.

The Black Girl Dream Fund offers general operating grants ranging from $5,000-$30,000 to support the capacity of organizations that care for Black girls.

The Fund offers support in the following categories: Education, Health & Wellness, Economic Opportunity, Leadership and Empowerment, and Social Justice. Applications will be considered for organizations operating in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Virginia. Priority will go to organizations with leaders who grew up, currently reside, or have organizations in economically depressed areas.

The Walter Dean Myers Grant program will provide grants of $2000 to promising diverse writers and illustrators who are currently unpublished (this includes traditional publishing and self publishing). The Grant can be used in a variety of ways to hone a creator’s craft and support their career development, from attending conferences to purchasing new writing devices to covering childcare.

This fellowship is a six-month program for social justice changemakers ready to build and test a new idea. Fellows will receive a $30,000 award, $1,000 healthcare stipend, coaching, mentorship, and more!

Gender Reveal is accepting applications for their annual funding cycle to award several grants of up to $1,000 for organizing/community projects led by trans people of color. They are specifically looking for projects that materially support trans folks, queer people of color, and/or other marginalized communities, as well as projects that foster exploration and celebration of gender diversity and trans lives.
