Mo’s expertise is shaped by both formal education and hands-on experience. They hold a B.A. in History with a minor in Sociology from The College of William & Mary (2019) and a Digital Marketing Graduate Certificate from the University of South Florida (2025). Additionally, Mo has earned professional certifications in Google Analytics, User Experience Design, and Adobe programs. Prior to launching Lavender Consulting, they worked at HistoryMiami Museum in various roles—including Educator, Local Guide, Facilities Manager, and Events Manager—where they honed their skills in engagement, organization, and community-driven storytelling.
Mo founded Lavender Consulting to help organizations grow, connect, and amplify their communities through strategic marketing, branding, and design. With a background in marketing and event management, combined with a deep passion for storytelling and visual communication, they craft creative strategies that elevate brands and bring their missions to life.
As a proud queer Floridian, Mo is deeply committed to uplifting LGBTQ+ businesses and professionals through intentional, values-driven marketing. The name Lavender Consulting reflects this mission: “Lavender” has long been a symbol of queer identity and solidarity, representing resilience, visibility, and community. By integrating this legacy into their work, Mo strives to create branding and marketing that not only elevates organizations but also strengthens and celebrates the voices within them.
